Skyline Gondola, Climbing more than 400 meters up Bob's Peak in under five minutes, the Skyline Gondola delivers sweeping views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables from its summit terminal, which also serves as the base for luge rides, mountain biking trails, and a paragliding launch point.

Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge, Spanning the turquoise Kawarau River about 20 minutes from Queenstown, this 1880 historic bridge became the birthplace of commercial bungy jumping in 1988 and remains one of the most iconic jump sites in the world, with a viewing deck for spectators who'd rather watch than leap.

Cecil Peak, Cecil Peak is a mountain in the Wakatipu Basin, New Zealand and reaches a height of 1,978 metres. It is on the south side of Lake Wakatipu south-southwest of Queenstown, and is prominent within the area.

The Remarkables, A jagged, near-vertical mountain range rising directly from the shores of Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables form the dramatic backdrop to nearly every classic Queenstown view and are one of the few ranges in the world running almost exactly north-south, home to a ski field in winter and hiking trails the rest of the year.

Lake Wakatipu, Lake Wakatipu is an inland lake in the South Island of New Zealand. It is in the southwest corner of the Otago region, near its boundary with Southland. The name Wakatipu comes from the Māori name of the lake; there are two different etymologies as to the origin of the name.
